Shaquille O'Neal Reveals Fears After Hearing of Shaq Barrett's Child

Shaquille O'Neal, the former NBA superstar and current TNT analyst, recently revealed his fears after hearing about Shaq Barrett's child.

Shaq Barrett is a standout linebacker for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and he recently revealed that his youngest child was born with an intestinal disorder that required surgery.

O'Neal's own son, Shareef, was born with a heart defect that required surgery when he was just three months old.

O'Neal has been open about the experience, saying that it was one of the most difficult times of his life.

"I remember feeling so helpless," O'Neal said. "As a parent, you just want to fix everything for your child, but in situations like that, there's nothing you can do except trust the doctors and pray."

Fortunately, Shareef's surgery was successful, and he has gone on to have a successful basketball career of his own.

But the experience has stayed with O'Neal, and he says he can empathize with what Barrett is going through.

Barrett has not shared many details about his child's condition, but he did say that the surgery was successful and that the family is taking things one day at a time.

"I know how scary it is to have a child in the hospital, to be waiting for news, to be praying for a miracle," O'Neal said.
